Care guide: how to wash and care for your bedding

Quality bedding gets better with time — if you care for it properly. Here are the essentials.

Wash at 60°

Most of our duvet cover sets, sheets and pillowcases wash at 60°, ideally inside out. Avoid bleach on coloured products.

Dry gently

Line dry or tumble dry on low heat. Down and feather respond well to tumble drying with dryer balls — shake them out for loft.

Iron for sheen

Iron on high heat for a smooth surface. Supima cotton takes on extra lustre when ironed.

Care for the filling

Air pillows and duvets regularly. A mattress topper can't be washed — use a mattress protector.
